Dr. Elvir Causevic is co-founder and managing director of Tech+IP Capital, a boutique investment bank helping clients unlock value from intangible assets. His expansive career bridges investment banking, litigation consulting, and technology innovation. He previously co-led the Tech+IP Advisory Group at Houlihan Lokey following its acquisition of BSIP LLC, an IP boutique he founded. Previously, Elvir served as managing director at Ocean Tomo leading strategic advisory and serving as a technical and damages expert witness in patent infringement, licensing, and antitrust matters. He was on faculty at Yale University and founded three neurotechnology companies, two acquired by Fortune 500 corporations. The third, BrainScope, manufactures the only FDA-cleared concussion device. Elvir is named inventor on more than 30 patents, holds BS, MS, and doctoral degrees in electrical engineering from Washington University and a JD from UC College of the Law, San Francisco, and is licensed to practice in Massachusetts.
