Dylan Zhou is executive vice president of licensing at Access Advance, a market leading patent pool administrator focused on licensing essential patents of video codec technologies. In his role at Access Advance, Mr. Zhou heads pool licensing activities across Asia. He manages the local teams and is responsible for signing some of the largest and most strategic HEVC, VVC and VDP pool licensors and licensees in these regions. Prior to joining Access Advance, he was with Technicolor/Thomson where he held various executive positions in the company’s technology licensing business, corporate strategy and mergers and acquisitions departments. Mr. Zhou has an MBA degree from Purdue University and a Bachelor of Science degree from University of Science and Technology of China. He is based in Boston USA.
