Rebecca Yan is vice president and general manager of the strategy projects department at PurpleVine IP Group, bringing over 17 years of expertise in intellectual property. Ms. Yan specializes in IP monetisation and transactions, corporate management consulting, investment due diligence, IPO advisory, and dispute resolution, with a particular focus on supporting enterprises navigating complex cross-border IP challenges. Since joining PurpleVine IP, Ms Yan has led teams advising industry-leading enterprises including TCL Zhonghuan, the 711Research Institute of China State Shipbuilding Corporation, Ecovacs, Dreame, Sungrow, Sunwoda, Svolt Energy, Leapmotor, Schaeffler, and Aptiv. In recent years, Ms Yan has spearheaded a series of landmark photovoltaic patent monetisation projects, including patent licensing of photovoltaic silver paste technology between Solamet and Fusion, the patent licensing between Maxeon and Tongwei (shingled technology), Maxeon TOPCon technology licensing, and the Maxeon-Aiko BC technology licensing agreement - the last of which reached RMB 1.65 billion, ranking among the most significant IP licensing transactions in China's intellectual property industry.
