Shinyi Huang is a Senior Technical Manager in the Legal and Intellectual Property Division of MediaTek. With a technical background in telecommunications, Ms. Huang has dedicated nearly twenty years to in-house IP management, specializing in patent monetization and portfolio strategy for semiconductor industries. Throughout her career, she has brought an IC design perspective to patent pool participation and licensing strategy development, successfully driving significant revenue from MediaTek's patent portfolio. Furthermore, she has also led numerous patent transactions, shaping standard-essential patent (SEP) positioning from an operational standpoint. Her expertise spans SEP licensing, patent transactions, and patent pool financial analysis and forecasting, working closely with law firms, patent pools, and industry analysts across the SEP licensing ecosystem. Ms. Huang holds a Master of Intellectual Property from the University of New Hampshire and a telecommunications degree from National Chiao Tung University, seamlessly combining technical depth with cross-functional IP strategy expertise.
