Lyse Brillouet was appointed vice president, intellectual property and licensing, with Orange group at the end of 2017. The business unit that covers all the activities related to intellectual property, patents and licensing, as well as legal and lawsuits. Before joining the IP department with a strong business, public affairs and innovation management background, as head of research, Ms Brillouet was responsible for delivering a vision to the group of what the company and the major industries of tomorrow will look like under the influence of digital – connected and autonomous cars, urban piloting and sensitive cities, health and robotics prefigure inescapable societal stakes. A business and management graduate ESCEM, Ms Brillouet began her career in the field of direct marketing and sales management in banking and mass distribution. She has held various managerial positions in the business and innovation divisions while at Orange. Ms Brillouet notably co-founded the operator’s health division and regularly taught in renowned French business and engineering schools.
