Mr. Rui Luo practice focuses on IP litigation and IP-related anti-monopoly dispute resolution. He possesses extensive expertise in representing multinational clients in complex, high-stakes intellectual property disputes in China. Mr. Luo is a veteran litigator with experience in all types of IP disputes, particularly in patent, trade secret, and anti-monopoly. Mr. Luo has litigated for his clients before all key IP courts in China. With his deep insight into the IP protection system in China, Mr. Luo has helped his clients won many landmark cases, several of which have been selected as guideline cases. In the past few years, Mr. Luo has represented some leading implementors (including Apple, Samsung, MediaTek, OPPO and Lenovo) in several SEP disputes and negotiations. Mr. Luo also has vast experience with patent invalidation proceedings before CNIPA, representing his clients in many high-stake patent invalidation proceedings related to telecommunication and semiconductor technologies.
