Brad Watts is the senior vice president at the US Chamber of Commerce's Global Innovation Policy Center (GIPC) where he oversees the Center’s day to day operations across all aspects of domestic and international intellectual property policy, and personally handles issues related to patent and innovation policy. He previously served for five years as the Republican chief counsel on the Senate Judiciary Committee’s Subcommittee on Intellectual Property. Before that, he was chief counsel in Senator Thom Tillis’s personal office. Earlier in Mr Watts' career he spent two years serving as chief immigration counsel to then Senate Judiciary Committee Chairman Chuck Grassley and began his career with then Senator Jeff Sessions as a legislative counsel on the Immigration Subcommittee.
