Sophie is counsel in the intellectual property practice group. She specialises in patent law. Sophie is a patent litigator and UPC representative. Her experience includes representing clients in both the technology and life sciences sectors in national and cross border (including UPC) patent proceedings. She also advises clients on patent enforcement strategies and regulatory matters.
In addition, Sophie has experience in advising clients on licensing and IP structuring, including drafting and negotiating license, and other IP related agreement. Before joining Taylor Wessing in 2025, Sophie worked for over 6,5 years in the IP litigation team of an international law firm. During this time, she undertook a six-month secondment to the firm’s London office in 2024, where she worked on (cross border) patent matters.
