Bing Hu has extensive experience in IP related matters including patent licensing, litigation and acquisition. In her years with Xiaomi, she has concluded multiple deals amounting to hundreds of millions of dollars. Ms Bing Hu has both telecommunications and intellectual property law background. After graduating from college, she worked as a patent engineer for around five years and then joined the start-up IP monetisation company Zhigu in 2012, which was acquired by Xiaomi later on to form the IP strategy team. She is one of the key members of the corporate business development and IP strategy department of Xiaomi Group.
