With 19+ years of experience as a USPTO-registered IP attorney-spanning BigLaw and in-house roles—and a former electrical engineer, she builds, scales, and monetizes high-value IP portfolios aligned with product innovation, corporate growth, and enterprise risk management. At Fluence, she owns global IP strategy, portfolio development, enforcement, litigation, transaction support, and risk management. She has led IP diligence and negotiation for major technology acquisitions and strategic partnerships and has embedded IP governance into R&D and core business strategy. Under her leadership, Fluence has evolved from pre-IPO to a publicly traded company and quadrupled its granted patent portfolio—strengthening its competitive position in rapidly evolving technology markets. Chinenye holds a B.S. in electrical engineering from Yale University and a J.D. from George Mason University and is admitted in MO, DC, and before the USPTO.
