Francis Rushford is a managing director in legal opportunities, where he is responsible for intellectual property and legal asset finance within the legal opportunities strategy. Prior to joining Pretium in 2021, Francis was a managing director and co-founder of RSL Holdings, an intellectual property valuation and monetisation business, where he practiced law in New York and California. He also served at ICAP, where he was responsible for founding the patent trading desk. He is a member of the Connors Inns of Court, Licensing Executives Society, Intellectual Property Owners, AIPLA, a number of local intellectual property associations, and was named a top IP global strategist by IAM for the past 15 years. Francis received a bachelors in metallurgical engineering from New York University and a JD From New England Law Boston.
