Rebecca Brown is a director of IP at Sonos, where she leads EMEA patent operations, including driving global strategy, portfolio development, cross-border litigation and licensing efforts. With over 20 years of experience as a dual-qualified US and European patent attorney and US attorney-at-law, Ms Brown manages a sophisticated patent portfolio that reflects the company’s significant investment in innovation, focusing on protecting Sonos’ high-value patented inventions that define the brand. Prior to joining Sonos, her practice included extensive European and US patent prosecution across multiple technical domains, as well as global litigation and licensing experience. She holds a Juris Doctor from Northwestern University, a Master of Laws from Sciences Po, Paris, and a BS in Mechanical Engineering from Purdue University.
