Boaz Brickman leads a team of attorneys who handle legal issues relating to IPValue's intellectual property, including its patent portfolios that hold over 10,000 patents worldwide. In addition to prosecuting and maintaining these patent portfolios, Mr Brickman and his team engage in a significant number of fact-based assertions against counterparties worldwide. When necessary, Mr Brickman and his team also manage litigations against recalcitrant counterparties who refuse to take licenses. In 2026, the team had a successful trial outcome in Texas, where a jury awarded over $65m in damages for the infringement of LCD patents, and was involved in an ITC hearing involving several large semiconductor companies. Mr Brickman began his legal career at Kirkland & Ellis in Los Angeles, where he worked as an associate and a partner, and then moved on to Lucent and Alcatel Lucent where he managed several major litigations and the patent assertion team.
