Pirjo Jha has over 15 years of experience spanning in-house roles, law firms, and research institutions. As senior counsel at Signal AI, she manages content licensing and data mining agreements with publishers, collective rights management organisations, and data aggregators. She also advises internal teams on AI use cases and product compliance, and oversees IP portfolio strategy. Before Signal AI, Ms Jha served as senior legal counsel at Vaimo, where she negotiated technology transactions, led IP strategy and data protection compliance. Earlier in her career, she worked as a technology attorney at PricewaterhouseCoopers and conducted research on IP systems and monetisation at the Fraunhofer Institute in Germany. Ms Jha earned her LLM from Humboldt University of Berlin and a BA in Law from the University of Tartu, Estonia. She is a Member of the Estonian Bar Association.
