Arvind Jairam is counsel and director of patent licensing and transactions at Ofinno, a research lab focused on innovative technologies in the cellular, Wi-Fi, and video compression fields. He provides counsel to Ofinno regarding a variety of legal issues relating to patent matters, and he leads Ofinno's licensing and patent sales/acquisitions initiatives. Before joining Ofinno, Arvind was a partner at a leading litigation firm. He has nearly two decades of experience spanning every area of patent law. Before entering the field of patent law, Arvind was a researcher at MIT Lincoln Laboratory, focusing on machine learning, digital signal processing (primarily for imaging and speech applications), and natural language processing. Arvind holds degrees from Carnegie Mellon University (BS mathematical sciences, BS computer science, BS and MS electrical and computer engineering), Boston University (MSBA), and George Washington University School of Law (JD with honors).
