Jason Kang is assistant director of patents at Intel Corporation, where he leads global patent strategy and portfolio management for Intel's graphics IP portfolio, including graphics processors (GPUs), Al accelerators, and high-performance computing hardware. Jason brings deep expertise across the entire patent lifecycle, from drafting and prosecution to appeals and post-grant USPTO proceedings, and is a pioneer in leveraging AI-powered tools to manage high-stakes patent portfolios. Holding a BEng (hons) in electrical engineering from the National University of Singapore, an MSc in integrated circuit design from Nanyang Technological University, and an LLB (hons) from NUS Law, Jason bridges the worlds of advanced semiconductor technology and IP law. Licensed to practice in California and Singapore, he is a certified information privacy professional (CIPP/A and CIPP/E) and an active member of professional organisations such as the Licensing Executives Society (LES).
