Vishal Patel is a principal patent licensing engineer with Intellectual Ventures’ (IV) Investment Fund. With more than 15 years of experience in IP matters, Mr Patel currently oversees and directs the technical aspects of monetisation activities in the automotive, consumer electronics, and fintech programmes, focusing on demonstrating the value of a license to IV’s patent portfolio within these industries. Mr Patel holds a master of science degree in electrical engineering and also contributes to the semiconductor licensing programme at IV. Before joining IV, Mr Patel began his career in IP at TechInsights. His last role at TechInsights was as a senior consultant in the IP Services team, where he served as a trusted partner and adviser to various clients on IP initiatives.
