Ms Brown manages a sophisticated patent portfolio that reflects the company’s significant investment in innovation, focusing on protecting Sonos’ high-value patented inventions that define the brand. With nineteen years of experience as both a US and European patent attorney and US attorney-at-law, she has a proven track record in coordinating cross-border patent litigation and executing international licenses and patent development strategies. Ms Brown’s background includes extensive European and US patent prosecution across multiple technical domains, as well as global litigation and licensing experience. She holds a JD from Northwestern University, a master of law degree from Sciences Po, Paris, and a BS in mechanical engineering from Purdue University, and is admitted to practice before the USPTO and the EPO.
