Andrew Riley is a senior legal engineer and IP counsel at Patlytics, an AI-powered platform for every phase of patent workflow, where he leads the life sciences and chemicals efforts on its strategy team. Before Patlytics, Dr Riley held in-house roles at Siemens Healthineers and a cancer diagnostics startup. Before going in-house, Dr Riley practiced in the IP litigation group at Goodwin for over 10 years, where he counseled pharmaceutical clients on matters primarily focused on litigation and prosecution. He holds a JD from Fordham University School of Law and a PhD in chemistry from the University of California, Los Angeles.
