Eric Reifschneider is chief licensing officer at Avanci. He has more than 30 years of experience in technology transactions, intellectual property strategy, and global licensing. At Avanci, Eric helps define licensing strategy and best practices across the company’s licensing platforms and programmes. Before joining Avanci affiliate Marconi in 2016, Eric was senior vice president and general manager of Qualcomm Technology Licensing. Earlier in his career, he served as partner in charge of the technology and intellectual property transactions practices at two international law firms in Silicon Valley. Eric regularly speaks at industry conferences, teaches law school classes, and writes on intellectual property and licensing issues. He received his law degree magna cum laude from Harvard Law School, where he served as an executive editor of the Harvard Law Review, and earned undergraduate degrees in physics and mathematics from MIT.
