Steve Chiang is senior vice president and chief IP and SaaS officer at RPX Corporation, where he manages RPX’s IP portfolio and advises on licensing, antitrust, and IP policy. Before joining RPX, he worked at various law firms including Oliff & Berridge, the Mueller Law Office, and Dergosits & Noah, on patent prosecution, counseling, and litigation matters. Before entering law school, Steve worked as a software engineer at Hewlett-Packard and Mercury Interactive. Mr Chiang received his JD from Washington University in St Louis School of Law and a BA in applied mathematics from the University of California Berkeley.
