Dina Kallay serves as deputy assistant attorney general (DAAG) at the US Department of Justice Antitrust Division. Before joining the DOJ in 2025, she was head of antitrust at Ericsson. From 2006 to 2013, DAAG Kallay served as counsel for intellectual property and international antitrust at the US Federal Trade Commission, where she focused on antitrust-intellectual property matters as well as multilateral and Asian competition matters. Before that, she practiced antitrust and IP law at a number of law firms, most recently with the Washington DC office of Howrey LLP. She also worked as in-house antitrust counsel for Microelectrónica Española. From 2000 to 2001, DAAG Kallay clerked at the European Commission Directorate General for Competition (DG COMP) Unit for Information Industries and Consumer Electronics, where she worked on unilateral conduct and IP related enforcement and policy matters. DAAG Kallay holds an LLM and doctorate from the University of Michigan Law School and has written and spoken extensively on antitrust issues, especially international antitrust and antitrust-intellectual property interface topics. She also taught these subjects as an adjunct professor at the Georgetown Law Center, Hebrew University, and Bar Ilan University.
