As senior director of patent and global litigation at Acer Group, she leads high-stakes IP litigation, patent prosecution, and licensing negotiations, securing multimillion-dollar settlements and royalties while shaping Acer’s global IP strategy. With a dual background in law and business management, Kate specialises in patent monetisation and asset management, successfully licensing Acer’s patent portfolio and managing patent assertion campaigns to maximize IP value. She also oversees export control compliance, ensuring regulatory adherence and mitigating trade risks across global markets. Kate graduated from the University of Washington School of Law and is currently enrolled in the executive MBA programme at National Taiwan University.
