Lai Wei (Rachel Wei) joined ZTE Corporation in 2017 and currently serves as the deputy director of the intellectual property department and head of patent litigation. She has been deeply involved in the company’s global patent litigation, licensing negotiations, and compliance efforts. Leading her team, she has successfully resolved hundreds of global patent disputes and established strategic global licensing partnerships with multiple leading companies. In recent years, the ZTE patent litigation team, under her leadership, has achieved a series of landmark results and helped redefine the rules governing cross-border disputes in the field of standard-essential patents. Her work has not only supported the sustainable operation of ZTE’s intellectual property business but also contributed to the industry-wide recognition of the company’s patent value.
