Jon Chow is assistant chief counsel at The Walt Disney Company, where he oversees patent, copyright, and trademark litigation across the enterprise. With over two decades of practice, Jon sets and executes litigation strategy across multiple business units, advising Disney's most senior business and legal leadership on patent threats and IP litigation matters. He manages one of the most dynamic litigation dockets in the entertainment industry, coordinating across legal, technical, and business teams on high-stakes matters around the world. His work also encompasses SEP licensing disputes, video codec litigation, and complex cross-border enforcement matters. Before to joining Disney, Jon practiced at O'Melveny & Myers and Ropes & Gray. He holds a JD from Cornell Law School and degrees in molecular and cellular biology and economics from the University of Arizona.
