Brian Koide is a director at Millen, White, Zelano, & Branigan, P.C. and has nearly three decades of experience litigating patent disputes across a broad range of technologies, including software, telecommunications, electronics, and medical devices. He has represented both patent owners and accused infringers in US district courts, the US Court of Appeals for the Federal Circuit, and proceedings before the PTAB. He has tried patent cases to jury verdict, argued appeals, and handled post-grant proceedings and reexams involving high-value intellectual property assets. Throughout his career, Mr Koide has advised clients on patent enforcement, licensing, portfolio assessment, and intellectual property strategy. His experience includes representing some of the most active patent assertion entities in the United States, including Uniloc and WSOU, as well as operating companies seeking to protect and commercialize innovation. Mr Koide brings a practitioner’s perspective to evaluating patent assets, enforcement risk, and monetisation opportunities.
