Lily Lim was head of legal affairs at Elon Musk’s foundational AI lab, xAI, which increased in valuation by over $150bn during her tenure there. Lily is now general counsel at an incredibly high-paced and innovative stealth AI start-up. Lily is a technologist turned lawyer advocating for innovation, including advising companies and litigating issues regarding AI, IP, and cybersecurity for over two decades. Before going in-house, Lily was a partner at the Finnegan Henderson law firm. Before her legal career, she received her MS from MIT and was a spacecraft navigation engineer for the Magellan Mission to Venus at NASA’s Jet Propulsion Laboratory.
